Grown in a 25-acre Rutherford vineyard with older Cabernet Sauvignon vines, this wine also includes Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot from other Napa vineyards. The result is a well-balanced and harmonious Bordeaux-style blend.
With aromas of briar fruit, black cherry, and berry compote, this wine has a full-bodied taste with firm tannins and rich dark fruit flavors. Pair it with hearty dishes like barbecued ribs, ribeye steak, beef stews, or rich moussaka and lasagnas. For even more complexity, age it in a cellar for at least ten years to mellow the tannins.

Red California Belle Glos Clark & Telephone Pinot Noir 2022 wine
Decant this wine and let it breathe for a couple of hours. It has a rich ruby color and a complex aroma including cherry, blackberry, plum, cranberry, leather, cedar, and cloves. The taste is a delicious mix of strawberry jam, raspberry, gingerbread, and caramel, with hints of toast and cigar.
It’s almost full-bodied with well-balanced tannins, acidity, and alcohol. This high-quality Pinot Noir has a long finish with subtle notes of raspberry and cinnamon. Pair it with salmon, pork, pasta, beef, or ham, or simply enjoy it on its own.
The name Belle Glos is a nod to the winemaker’s grandmother, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner, who helped start Caymus. The grapes were handpicked early in the morning and underwent cold maceration for up to two weeks. Only the free-run juice was used to ensure top-notch quality.
After aging for 9 months in French oak barrels, 60% new, the wine was bottled.
