Four Remarkable Wines with Stories and Character
Feudo Croci Primitivo – The Puglia Treasure
Feudo Croci was born from Gian Andrea Tinazzi’s passion after discovering the exceptional potential of Salento’s vineyards. Founded in 2001, the estate comprises 20 hectares around a historic farmhouse in Carosino. The region’s arid, sunny climate is perfect for indigenous varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Malvasia Bianca.
This wine is made from 100% Primitivo grapes sourced from the family’s vineyards in Carosino. The grapes are crushed, destemmed, then fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks to preserve varietal purity. The wine matures in 5-hectolitre French and American oak barrels for 6 to 8 months, resulting in an opulent, intense red bursting with luscious dark berries, ripe plums, and crushed cherries.
On the palate, it is robust and full-bodied with firm yet supple tannins and a well-built structure. It pairs superbly with hearty dishes like barbecued ribs, venison, steak, or rich tomato-based pasta. This wine can be cellared for up to 9 years and requires no decanting before serving.
689 Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon – Luck and Power in a Bottle
Named after the auspicious numbers six, eight, and nine in Chinese culture, 689 Cellars reflects the founders’ belief in flow, prosperity, and longevity. These principles inspired the creation of wines that embody energy, balance, and enduring quality.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from premium grapes sourced from Napa Valley vineyards and vinified in temperature-controlled tanks. It is then aged in oak barrels to add polish and complexity. The wine opens with aromas of ripe berries, plums, dark cherries, dark chocolate, dried herbs, and subtle violet notes.
On the palate, it offers a smooth texture, full body, and firm yet gentle tannins, leading to a long finish enriched by toasty oak and spice. This wine pairs wonderfully with lasagne, aubergine parmigiana, roast beef, or a perfectly grilled ribeye steak with French fries. Cellar up to 9 years, no decanting needed.
689 Cellars Red Blend – A Symphony of Napa Varietals
Also inspired by Asian traditions, this red blend brings together Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Petit Verdot grapes from Napa Valley. The blend is carefully fermented and aged in oak barriques for nine months to develop a polished and layered profile.
The wine dazzles with aromas of ripe dark berries, sweet spice, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is easy-going yet complex, with balanced tannins and a rich finish. This versatile red is perfect for cozy evenings or paired with smoky barbecue, pizza, or hearty pasta dishes.
Cellar up to 7 years and serve without decanting for immediate enjoyment or a richer experience over time.
689 Cellars Red Blend (Second Vintage) – Continued Excellence
The second vintage of this lucky red blend continues to impress, crafted with the same varietals and dedication to quality. The grapes are sourced from fine Napa vineyards, fermented, and aged in oak barrels to enhance complexity and depth.
This vintage exudes concentrated aromas of dark berries, sweet spices, and velvety chocolate. The palate is smooth and polished with medium to full body and gentle tannins. It pairs beautifully with rich meats, hearty pasta dishes, and spicy fare.
Drink now or cellar for up to 7 years. No decanting is required, making it perfect for any occasion.
