Crafted entirely from 100% Malvasia grapes, this intriguing wine from Rioja blurs the line between white and orange wine styles. Its aromatic profile features rich fruit notes of quince, pear, and apple, enhanced by herbal fennel undertones.
The grapes are handpicked from young vineyards at 550 meters altitude in the foothills of the Obarenes Mountains. Alonso and Pedrajo, established in 2011 by two winemaking families, cultivate their vineyards with great care using mostly manual work and minimal intervention in the winery.
The wine is known for its vibrant acidity balanced by a rounded mouthfeel, with flavors recalling citrus, orchard fruits, and buttery pastries. The subtle tannins come from extended skin contact during maceration in clay jars, which also give the wine its deeper color.

Alpasion Cabernet Franc – Expressive Organic Wine from Mendoza’s Chacayes Region
Founded by a group of passionate friends, Alpasion winery spans 85 hectares of organically farmed vineyards in Mendoza. This Cabernet Franc comes from 6-year-old vines grown at 1,200 meters elevation in Los Chacayes, Tunuyan.
The wine undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by 12 months aging in new French oak barrels. It displays a brilliant ruby red color with garnet edges and an intense, complex aromatic profile of ripe red fruit, spices, coffee, and licorice.
