Red Spanish Aster Crianza wine

Red Spanish Aster Crianza 2020 wine
This lively red wine comes from La Rioja Alta winery, which has been making top-quality Rioja reds since 1890. In 1991, the winery’s experts found a promising spot in Anguix, Ribera del Duero, and started growing vines there. The Aster Crianza is their way of showcasing the best of the Tempranillo grape in this new location.
It’s made entirely from Tempranillo grapes and aged in oak barrels for 12 months to give it a rich, deep taste. One cool thing about the Aster Crianza is how well it balances ripe fruit and tannins “ the tannins add structure without taking away from the fruity flavors. The 2019 Aster Crianza is full-bodied and complex, with flavors of juicy blackberry, cherry, and toasty spices.
It’s a versatile wine that goes great with grilled red meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.

Red New Zealand Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir 2022 wine
Ata Rangi, a top producer of Pinot Noir in New Zealand, takes its name from the Maori words for dawn sky or new beginning. Founded by Clive Paton, a former dairy farmer who switched to winemaking in 1980 after learning about Marlborough’s similarities to Burgundy. Despite his lack of experience, Paton was determined to master the craft.
Over time, he honed his skills and became known for his exceptional Pinot Noir, particularly the Crimson Pinot Noir. This wine, named after a charity that Ata Rangi supports, is made from grapes sourced from younger vines on the estate, resulting in a fresh, fruity flavor with lively red cherry notes. The winemaking process involves fermenting the grapes in stainless steel tanks and then aging the wine in oak barrels for nine months, creating a smooth, velvety texture with subtle sweet spice flavors and gentle tannins that showcase the natural qualities of the Pinot Noir.
